I like Stukov. First game I didn’t like him but I hate every support the first game I play them. Then after I learned the E (lingering arm) build, it was pretty sick.
Really fun board game. I played it like six months ago with a friend and we barely got the hang of it. I opened it last Tuesday though and played it ago. Mostly on a whim since I hadn’t touched it in a while, and it was pretty fun.
Originally the combat wasn’t fun. Tracking the life and damage can feel tedious. But after playing Forbidden Stars the Rebellion combat clicked with me. It was fun and the game was actually much simpler after I had time to absorb the rules.
Anyway if you’re really interested in that Star Wars feel, Rebellion handles it really well
Stormblood early access is pretty fun so far. I started Stormblood and May and I had fun but it wasn’t the greatest. So far though it’s been awesome seeing all these people online, seeing streams gets views, and the class changes have been fun.
Levelling was really awful early on but it’s been great so far. Hope more people pick up this game
The last time I played Scythe was about a year ago. Today I played it again and it was super fun. We didn’t have a ton of time to play so we shortened the length but everyone had a lot more fun this time than the last time.
Though this doesn’t have anything to do with the length of the game. I just think everyone understood the game more and we had a better group this time. Anyway Scythe was really fun and it’s awesome to have a game with a ton of options in it.
I played Blood Rage once like a year ago. It was good but I forgot about it till yesterday when I played it at a meetup. It was awesome. My group was into it and I think everyone enjoyed it.
My group is fairly new to games. Some of them play videogames but overall they’re new to board games. I think Blood Rage was a good step up for them. A lot of them like 7 Wonders and Blood Rage is like that with some additional mechanics.
Anyway it’s been awesome finding a fun game that everyone likes.
Fire Emblem Heroes has a new event coming out and I’m pretty excited. Tempest Trials is a difficult marathon event coming up that has good rewards like a new hero and orbs.
It’s actually a brand new event, we usually just have variations of old events but this is different so I’m excited. I’ll be staying up till it comes out just to try it
I pulled a Bridal Cordelia and it had +HP -Def which was pretty weird. Not the worst but not the best.
I decided it wasn’t worth going full brave bow build since she’d only have 35 speed with Life and Death 3. I settled on just a hybrid build where she could boost people and maybe snipe a few squishes.
I actually want Spur Attack over Breath of Life but i’ve got no extras to spare. I’ve considered running QR3 because she has 40 life and she could have 43 with the +3 HP seal which would be pretty neat. I had this alternative build in mind which maybe I should’ve done but I didn’t want to sacrifice my Klein for it.
A – Deathblow 3
B – Quick Riposte 3
C – Spur Attack 3
+3 HP Seal
This wold’ve made use of her +HP IV. I actually don’t know why I didn’t do it, probably because I didn’t want to sacrifice that five star just for this.
My current Cordelia I’m not super happy with. She’s a mixture between being offensive and supporty which I like. Breath of Life will actually help during the upcoming Tempest Trials, but arena wise I think the Spur Attack would’ve been massively better.
